I’m Lauren Jung. From as early as I can
remember, I have loved stories. I love reading them, writing them, day-dreaming
them, inventing them and sharing them. I am a petroleum geologist working in
downtown Calgary and I think what interests me most about geology is that the
Earth also has a story to tell. My favorite types of books to read are often
mysteries, because I enjoy trying to piece together the clues. I love the types
of books that you can’t put down and that keep you up all night reading just so
you can find out what happens next.
Becoming a member of the “Women From Away”
has taught me that I also love to analyze, dissect and discuss stories with
other women. Particularly when they can open your eyes to a new way of looking
at things or… at least just provide you with a spirited debate.
